The TC4467/TC4468/TC4469 family of devices, including the TC4468COE713, are four-output CMOS buffers and MOSFET drivers from Microchip Technology, capable of 1.2A peak drive current. These drivers feature a wide operating voltage range from 4.5V to 18V and exhibit symmetrical rise and fall times of 25ns, with short, equal delay times of 75ns.
Designed for robustness, these devices are latch-proof and can withstand 500mA of inductive kickback. They offer three input logic choices: NAND for the TC4467, AND for the TC4468, and AND/INV for the TC4469. The TC4468COE713 can continuously source up to 250mA into ground-referenced loads.
Applications for this gate driver include general-purpose CMOS logic buffering, driving all four MOSFETs in an H-bridge configuration for motor control, direct small motor driving, relay or peripheral driving, and CCD driving. The integrated logic gates can help reduce component count in designs. The TC4468COE713 is available in a 16-pin SOIC (Wide) surface-mount package.
