TC32MCDB

The TC32MCDB from Microchip Technology is a fully-integrated processor supervisor IC housed in a space-saving SOT-223-3 package. This device safeguards processor sanity by providing precision power-on/off reset control, a watchdog timer, and external reset override. It ensures stable system start-up by holding the processor in reset for a minimum of 500 msec after VDD is within tolerance. The on-board watchdog circuit monitors microprocessor activity, issuing a reset if the processor fails to provide the required signal within the specified time-out period, typically 700 msec. The output can be wire-ORed with a manual reset switch, and the device provides contact debounce for push-button connections.

It offers a simple reset/power-on reset function with an active low output and monitors a single voltage level at 4.375V. The operating temperature range is 0°C to 70°C.
