TAS5751MDCAR

The Texas Instruments TAS5751MDCAR is an active digital input Class-D audio amplifier designed for home audio, TV, and soundbar applications. It delivers up to 25W of stereo output power or 40W in mono configuration, operating from a power stage supply voltage range of 8 V to 26.4 V.

This amplifier features a digital audio input that supports 44.1-kHz and 48-kHz sample rates via LJ/RJ/I²S, including a 3-wire I²S mode that does not require MCLK. It offers independent channel volume controls with gain adjustment from 24 dB to mute in 0.125-dB steps, along with programmable three-band Automatic Gain Limiting (AGL) and 20 programmable Biquads for speaker equalization and other audio processing.

Key electrical characteristics include an RDS(on) of 0.08 Ω, THD + N of 0.03% at 1 kHz, and a minimum load impedance of 4 Ω. The analog supply voltage ranges from 3 V to 3.6 V. It boasts a high SNR of 106 dB (A-weighted) and an efficiency of up to 90%. Protection features include thermal, short-circuit, and undervoltage protection.

The TAS5751MDCAR is housed in a 48-pin HTSSOP (DCA) package with dimensions of 12.5 mm x 8.1 mm, covering an area of 101.25 mm². It operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 85°C. Control is managed via an I²C serial interface with two addresses.
