The Vishay Dale TA6F6.8AHM3_A/H is a surface-mount Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode from the PAR® series. It is designed for high-reliability applications, including automotive, with a junction temperature capability of 185 °C.
This unidirectional TVS diode features a peak pulse power of 600W (10/1000 μs) and a reverse standoff voltage of 5.8V, with a clamping voltage of 10.5V at 57.1A peak pulse current. It provides excellent clamping capability and is ideal for protecting sensitive electronics against voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lighting.
The device comes in a very low profile SlimSMA (DO-221AC) package, suitable for automated placement. The molding compound meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating, and the terminals are matte tin plated. It is AEC-Q101 qualified and meets MSL level 1 requirements.
Typical applications include protection on ICs, MOSFETs, and signal lines of sensor units for consumer, computer, industrial, and telecommunication equipment.
