The TA5MS15 is a 5-position male Mini XLR circular connector from the Conxall/Switchcraft TA_MS series. It features a solder cup termination for secure wire connections and is designed for free hanging (in-line) mounting. The connector is keyed for proper orientation and uses a latch lock fastening mechanism.
The shell is made of nickel-plated copper alloy, with silver-plated copper alloy contacts. The insulator is rigid dark brown thermoplastic, and the handle is molded black thermoplastic rubber over rigid thermoplastic. The connector includes a backshell, cable clamp, and strain relief for robust cable management. It accepts cable diameters from 0.140" to 0.160" (3.56mm to 4.06mm).
Rated for 125 VAC and 4 A, the TA5MS15 is suitable for low-power signal and audio applications. It is IP65/IP66 rated, offering dust tightness and water resistance. The connector is RoHS compliant as verified by the manufacturer datasheet.
