The NXP Semiconductors T1042NSE7MQB is a high-performance communication processor from the QorIQ T1 family. It features four 64-bit PowerPC e5500 cores, operating at a speed of 1.4GHz, with support for up to 1.5 GHz core frequencies. The processor includes a tightly coupled low latency cache hierarchy with 32 KB I/D L1 cache, 256 KB L2 cache per core, and up to 256 KB shared L3 cache. It offers 3.0 DMIPS/MHz per core and supports an addressable memory space of up to 64 GB.

Designed for networking and telecommunications applications, the T1042NSE7MQB integrates high-performance Data Path Acceleration Architecture (DPAA) and network peripheral bus interfaces. It supports DDR3L/4 RAM controllers, five 1Gbps Ethernet ports, two SATA 3Gbps interfaces, and two USB 2.0 + PHY ports. Security features include Boot Security, Cryptography, Secure Fusebox, Secure Debug, Tamper Detection, and Volatile key Storage.

This microprocessor is housed in a 780-FBGA, FCBGA package and is designed for surface mounting. It operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 105°C (TA). The QorIQ T1 family is suitable for applications such as fixed routers, switches, firewalls, and general-purpose embedded computing.
