The SZSMF30AT1G is a unidirectional Zener transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from Littelfuse, part of the SZSMF series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from high voltage transients and ESD events.
With a reverse standoff voltage of 30V and a clamping voltage of 48.4V at 4.1A peak pulse current (10/1000µs), it provides 200W peak pulse power. It also offers 1000W peak pulse power under 8/20µs conditions. The device features a fast response time of less than 1 ns and high ESD ratings: >16 kV HBM and 30 kV air/contact per IEC 61000-4-2. It is also rated for 40A EFT per IEC 61000-4-4.
The SZSMF30AT1G is AEC-Q101 qualified and PPAP capable, making it suitable for automotive applications. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C and has a thermal resistance of 150°C/W junction-to-ambient. DC power dissipation is 1W at 25°C.
The device is supplied in a low-profile SOD-123F surface mount package with a maximum height of 1.0 mm and a footprint area of 8.45 mm². It is Pb-free and RoHS compliant, supplied in tape and reel (3,000 units per reel).
