The onsemi SZSL15T1G is a 300 W peak pulse power (8/20 µs) unidirectional Zener TVS diode designed for ESD and surge protection on high-speed digital interfaces. Its integrated compensating diode reduces typical capacitance to 3.5 pF at 1 MHz, preserving signal integrity on USB, HDMI, and other high-frequency lines.
With a reverse standoff voltage of 15 V and a clamping voltage of 30 V at 5 A (8/20 µs), this device protects downstream circuitry from transients up to ±8 kV contact / ±16 kV air discharge per IEC 61000-4-2. It also handles EFT (40 A) and lightning surge (12 A) per IEC 61000-4-4 and 61000-4-5.
The SOT-23-3 surface-mount package (TO-236) is designed for automated assembly and high-density boards. This SZ-prefix variant is AEC-Q101 qualified, PPAP capable, RoHS3 compliant, halogen-free, and rated UL 94 V-0 for flammability.
