The SZNUP2105LT3G is a dual bidirectional TVS diode from On Semiconductor, specifically designed to protect CAN transceivers from ESD and other transient voltage events. It provides bidirectional protection for each data line in a single compact SOT-23-3 package.
Key electrical specifications include a reverse working voltage of 24V, a breakdown voltage range of 26.2V to 32V at 1 mA, and clamping voltages of 40V at 5A and 44V at 8A (8/20µs waveform). The device can handle a peak pulse current of 8A and a peak power dissipation of 350W per line. It features low reverse leakage current (100 nA maximum) and low capacitance of 30 pF at 1 MHz, making it suitable for high-speed CAN data rates.
