The SZMMBZH15VAWT1G from On Semiconductor is a dual monolithic silicon Zener diode designed for applications requiring transient overvoltage and ESD protection. It is part of the SZMMBZHxxVAWT1G series, which is automotive qualified and rated for high temperature operation up to 175°C junction temperature. The device integrates two Zener diodes in a common anode configuration, allowing protection of two separate lines using a single SC-70-3 package.
Key electrical specifications include a reverse standoff voltage of 12V, a maximum clamping voltage of 21V at 1.9A peak pulse current, and a peak pulse power rating of 40W for a 1.0 ms pulse. The device also offers excellent ESD protection with ratings of >16 kV Human Body Model and >400 V Machine Model. The Zener breakdown voltage range for the series is 12V to 33V.
