The SZMMBZ20VALT1G is a dual Zener diode designed for transient overvoltage protection. It features a common anode configuration that allows either two separate unidirectional lines or a single bidirectional line to be protected. Key electrical specifications include a reverse standoff voltage of 17V, a breakdown voltage of 20V (inferred), and a maximum clamping voltage of 28V at 1.4A peak pulse current. The device can handle 40W peak pulse power per 1.0ms pulse.
ESD protection is rated at IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4, ±30kV contact discharge. The operating temperature range spans -55°C to 150°C. The device is housed in a surface mount SOT-23-3 package with a thermal resistance of 556°C/W on an FR-5 board and 417°C/W on an alumina substrate.
It is RoHS3 compliant and Pb-free. The SZMMBZ20VALT1G is suitable for voltage and ESD sensitive equipment such as computers, printers, business machines, communication systems, and medical equipment. The compact SOT-23-3 package is ideal for high-density board designs.
