The SZESD7104MTWTAG is a low-capacitance ESD protection diode array designed to protect high-speed data lines from electrostatic discharge. It integrates four unidirectional Zener TVS diodes in a compact 10-WFDFN package with wettable flanks for automated optical inspection. The device is AEC-Q101 qualified for automotive applications.
Key electrical characteristics include a reverse working voltage of 5 V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 5.5 V at 1 mA, and low clamping voltages: 10 V typical at 1 A (8/20 µs pulse), 14.1 V at 8 A, and 19.5 V at 16 A. Reverse leakage current is 1 µA maximum at 5 V. Junction capacitance is typically 0.2 pF (max 0.3 pF) at 0 V and 1 MHz, making it suitable for high-speed interfaces.
The device meets IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 ESD protection with ±15 kV contact and air discharge ratings. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 125°C and is stored from -55°C to 150°C. The package is surface-mount with a 10-WDFNW (2.5x1) supplier package and is RoHS3 and Halogen Free compliant.
Typical applications include USB 3.0, HDMI 1.3/1.4, DisplayPort, Thunderbolt, and eSATA 3.0 interfaces where low capacitance and high ESD robustness are required.
