The JST SYM-01T-P0.5A is a crimp-style rectangular connector contact designed for use in YL series wire-to-wire connectors. It is rated for 10 A AC/DC current without a retainer and 7 A when a retainer is mounted, with a voltage rating of 300 V AC/DC. The contact supports wire sizes from AWG #26 to #16 (0.13 to 1.25 mm²) and is compatible with panel thicknesses of 0.7 to 2.0 mm.
Electrical characteristics include a maximum initial contact resistance of 7 mΩ, which may increase to 10 mΩ after environmental testing, and a minimum insulation resistance of 1000 MΩ. The contact withstands 1500 VAC for one minute. Operating temperature ranges from -25°C to +90°C, including temperature rise from current.
The contact is available in tape and reel packaging for automated assembly. It is designed for use with JST YL series housings and retainers, providing secure connections in various industrial and consumer applications.
