SX-3225

The Siward SX-3225 is a ceramic SMD crystal designed for a wide range of electronic applications including Bluetooth, MP3 players, PDAs, Cellular devices, Wireless LAN, and Audio Equipment. It operates within a nominal frequency range of 16.000 to 50.000 MHz, with standard frequencies available at 16.000, 24.000, 27.000, and 32.000 MHz. This crystal boasts a frequency tolerance of ±10 ppm at +25°C and frequency temperature characteristics of ±10 ppm (ref. to 25°C).

The device operates within a temperature range of -10°C to +60°C and has a storage temperature range of -40°C to +90°C. It supports various load capacitances including Series, 10pF, 12pF, and 16pF, with a maximum shunt capacitance of 5pF. The drive level is typically 10 μW (100 μW Max.). The SX-3225 features an ultra-thin, vacuum seam sealed ceramic SMD package, measuring 3.2x2.5x0.6mm, making it suitable for space-constrained designs. It is lead-free and designed for reflow soldering, supplied in emboss taping for automated assembly.

Key features include its tight tolerance and stability, fundamental AT-cut vibration mode, and RoHS 3 compliance. The aging rate at +25°C is ±1 ppm/year (±3 ppm/year Max.). This crystal is an excellent choice for applications requiring reliable frequency control in a small form factor.
