This is a crimp pin contact from JST's WPJ series of wire-to-wire connectors. It is designed for 18-22 AWG wire with insulation O.D. from 1.52 to 2.83 mm. The contact is made of copper alloy with tin-plating (reflow treatment). Electrical ratings: 7A current (AWG #18), 300V AC/DC voltage. Contact resistance initial 10 mΩ max, after environmental tests 20 mΩ max. Insulation resistance 1000 MΩ min, withstanding voltage 1500 VAC. Operating temperature -25°C to +85°C. The contact is crimp terminated and comes in tape and reel packaging with 4500 pieces per reel. It is RoHS compliant. The WPJ series offers waterproof performance up to IPX7 when used with appropriate housings. This contact is suitable for various applications requiring reliable connections in harsh environments.
