The SVF-42T-P2.0 is a crimp socket contact from JST Manufacturing, part of the VL connector series. It is designed for large current applications in both wire-to-wire and wire-to-board configurations. The contact accepts wire gauges from 16 to 22 AWG and features a tin-plated phosphor bronze contact material for reliable conductivity.
Electrical ratings include a maximum current of 20A AC/DC and a maximum voltage of 600V AC/DC. Contact resistance is 7 mΩ initial and 10 mΩ after environmental tests. Insulation resistance is 1000 MΩ minimum, and the contact withstands 2000 VAC for one minute. Operating temperature range is -25°C to +90°C, including temperature rise.
The contact uses crimp termination and is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 pieces per reel. It is RoHS2 compliant and suitable for use with 1.6 mm PC board thickness.
