The SURS8140T3G is a power rectifier diode from On Semiconductor, designed for ultra-fast recovery applications. It is part of the SURS8 series of rectifiers suitable for high-voltage, high-frequency rectification, freewheeling, and protection circuits in surface-mount applications.
With a maximum reverse voltage of 400V and an average forward current of 1A, this diode features a forward voltage drop of 1.25V max at 1A (1.05V max at 150°C). The reverse recovery time is typically 75ns, enabling efficient switching. It can handle a non-repetitive surge current of 35A (halfwave, 60Hz).
The diode is housed in a surface-mount DO-214AA (SMB) package with J-bend leads, suitable for automated handling. It is RoHS compliant and Pb-free, with an ESD rating of >8kV (HBM) and >1000V (CDM). The operating junction temperature range is -65°C to 175°C.
