The Kycon STX-3081-3N is a low-profile stereo phone jack designed for audio applications. It features a 3.5mm industry-standard mating diameter and accepts a 3-conductor TRS plug. The connector is unshielded and does not contain internal switches.
Electrical ratings include 24V DC and 3A continuous current. Contact resistance is 50 milliohms maximum before durability and 100 milliohms after 5000 mating cycles. Insulation resistance exceeds 100 megohms at 500V DC, and dielectric strength is 500V AC RMS for one minute.
The housing is made of PBT thermoplastic with UL 94V-0 flammability rating. The barrel is brass with nickel plating, and contacts are copper alloy with matte tin plating. Insertion and extraction forces range from 0.3 kg to 3.0 kg. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 105°C.
Mounting is through hole with right angle orientation, suitable for PCB assembly. The part is RoHS3 compliant and REACH unaffected.
