The STTH30L06GY-TR from STMicroelectronics is a 600V, 30A fast recovery power diode designed for high efficiency power conversion applications. This standard recovery rectifier offers a reverse recovery time of only 90ns, enabling high frequency operation with reduced switching losses.
With a low forward voltage of 1.55V at 30A, the device maintains high efficiency under heavy load. It is housed in a surface mount D²PAK (TO-263) package, which provides excellent thermal performance and allows for compact PCB layouts. The operating junction temperature range spans from -40°C to 175°C, suitable for demanding environments.
The diode is ideal for use as a freewheeling diode, snubber diode, and in power factor correction circuits. Its fast recovery characteristics make it particularly well-suited for switch mode power supplies and AC/DC converters.
