The STTH16003TV1 is a dual fast recovery rectifier module designed for high frequency secondary rectification in Switch Mode Power Supplies and DC-DC converters. Packaged in the ISOTOP chassis mount package, this device is intended for use in low voltage, high frequency inverters, freewheeling operation, welding equipment, and telecom power supplies.
Key electrical specifications include a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 300V, an average forward current of 80A per diode (160A per device), and a non-repetitive surge forward current of 800A. The diode features typical forward voltage drop of 1.2V at 80A and 25°C, and a maximum of 0.95V at 125°C. Reverse recovery time is 60ns typical and 80ns maximum, enabling high frequency operation.
Thermal characteristics include a junction-to-case thermal resistance of 0.7°C/W per diode and 0.4°C/W total. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to +150°C. The ISOTOP package provides 2500V RMS isolation and is suitable for chassis mounting.
