The STTH1002CFP is a dual common cathode fast recovery diode array manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It is designed for high-frequency rectification and freewheeling applications in power electronics. Each diode is rated for a maximum reverse voltage of 200 V and an average rectified current of 5 A, with a forward voltage drop of 1.1 V at 5 A. The device features a fast reverse recovery time of 25 ns, making it suitable for switching circuits operating above 100 kHz. The diode array uses standard silicon technology and is housed in a TO-220-3 Full Pack (TO-220FP) through-hole package, providing full isolation between the die and the heatsinking surface. The maximum junction temperature is 175°C, allowing operation in thermally demanding environments. Typical applications include output rectification in switch-mode power supplies, freewheeling diodes in motor drive inverters, and snubber circuits for power transistors.
