The STTA506B is a standard recovery rectifier diode from STMicroelectronics. It is rated for a maximum reverse voltage of 600V and an average rectified forward current of 5A. The device features a fast reverse recovery time of 50ns, suitable for high-frequency switching applications.
With a maximum forward voltage of 1.75V at 5A, the STTA506B offers low conduction losses. The operating junction temperature ranges up to 150°C. The technology is standard, making it a general-purpose rectifier.
The diode is housed in a TO-252-3 (DPak) surface mount package, also known as DPak or SC-63. The mounting type is surface mount, suitable for automated assembly.
