The STPS3H100U from STMicroelectronics is a power Schottky rectifier diode designed for high-frequency switched-mode power supplies. It features a maximum reverse voltage of 100V and an average forward current of 3A (TL=115°C, δ=0.5). The forward voltage drop is a maximum of 0.84V at 3A and 25°C, with a low reverse leakage current of 1µA at 25°C. The device offers negligible switching losses and high junction temperature capability up to 175°C, making it suitable for demanding applications. It is capable of handling 75A non-repetitive surge current and 2400W repetitive peak avalanche power. The STPS3H100U is housed in a surface-mount SMB (DO-214AA) package with gull-wing leads, providing a compact solution for space-constrained designs.
