The STPS140ZY is a Schottky rectifier diode designed for low voltage, high frequency applications. It features a maximum reverse voltage of 40V and an average rectified current rating of 1A, with a low forward voltage drop of 550mV at 1A to minimize power loss. The device offers fast switching with a reverse recovery time of ≤500ns when the forward current exceeds 200mA.
This diode is housed in a compact SOD-123 surface mount package, suitable for automated assembly and space-constrained PCB layouts. It operates over a junction temperature range of -40°C to 150°C, providing robust performance in demanding environments.
Typical applications include polarity protection, freewheeling diodes, and DC-DC converter output rectification in consumer, industrial, and automotive systems.
