The STF202-22T1G from On Semiconductor is an integrated USB filter solution providing line termination, EMI filtering, and ESD protection. This device is designed for upstream USB ports, cellular phones, wireless equipment, and computer applications. It offers a cost-effective alternative to discrete components by replacing multiple resistors, capacitors, and TVS diodes with a single IC.
The filter provides bi-directional EMI filtering to prevent noise from entering or leaving the system and offers IEC61000-4-2 ESD protection for USB ports. It supports flexible pull-down or pull-up line termination to meet USB 1.1 low and high-speed specifications. The device has ESD ratings of Machine Model C and Human Body Model 3B.
