The Hirose Electric ST60-18P(50) is a compact 18 position receptacle from the ST series, designed for board to cable/wire applications. It features a 0.5mm pitch and a single row of non-gendered contacts with gold finish, ensuring reliable electrical performance. The connector is rated for 0.5A per contact and 100VAC, with a contact resistance of 50mΩ maximum initial and 100mΩ after environmental testing. Insulation resistance is a minimum of 1000MΩ, and dielectric withstanding voltage is 350VAC.
Mechanically, the ST60-18P(50) supports board edge, surface mount, and right angle mounting with solder termination. It includes a latch holder fastening type for secure mating, and features board guides and EMI shielding. The insulation is black with a height of 3.00mm, and the housing material meets UL94 V-0 flammability rating. The connector can withstand a mating force of 29.4N maximum and a pull force of 49N maximum, with a durability of 10,000 mating cycles.
