ST3237EBDR Description

The ST3237EBDR is a 3V to 5.5V powered EIA/TIA-232 and V.28/V.24 communication interface transceiver from STMicroelectronics. It supports data rates up to 1Mbps in very high-speed operation and 250Kbps in normal operation. Enhanced electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection is provided at ±8KV using IEC1000-4-2 contact discharge and ±15kV using the Human Body Model (HBM) for I/O pins.

 

This transceiver features a low power shutdown mode consuming only 1μA with receivers active, and a low supply current of 300 μA typical. It is available in a 28-SOIC package with surface mount mounting type and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
