The STMicroelectronics ST13005 is a high voltage, fast-switching NPN power transistor manufactured using high voltage multi epitaxial planar technology. This technology enhances switching speeds while maintaining a wide RBSOA. It is suitable for applications such as electronic ballasts for fluorescent lighting and switch mode power supplies.
Key electrical ratings include a collector-emitter voltage (VCEO) of 400V and a continuous collector current (IC) of 4A, with a peak collector current (ICM) of 8A. The device can dissipate up to 75W of power at 25°C case temperature. The maximum operating junction temperature is 150°C.
