The Samtec SSW-108-03-G-S is a single row, 8-position receptacle connector from the SSW series. It features a 2.54mm pitch and through-hole solder tail termination, making it suitable for board-to-board or cable applications. The housing is made of black liquid crystal polymer with UL94 V-0 flammability rating, and contacts are phosphor bronze with 20 µ" gold plating on the contact area and gold flash on the tail. The connector is rated for 4.7A per pin (with 2 pins powered) and 465 VAC / 655 VDC. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and supports up to 8 Gbps data rate. The push-pull fastening type and mating cycles of 100 make it reliable for moderate-use applications. This connector is designed to mate with Samtec TSW, MTSW, and other series headers. The insulator material is black liquid crystal polymer, and the contacts are phosphor bronze with nickel underplating.
