The Samtec SSW-108-01-F-D is a 16-position receptacle socket strip from the SSW series, designed for board-to-board or cable-to-board interconnections. It features a 2.54mm (0.100 inch) pitch and double row configuration with through hole solder tail termination. The contact system uses Samtec's Tiger Buy™ contact, providing high retention force and cost-effectiveness. Contacts are phosphor bronze with gold flash on the contact area and matte tin on the solder tail, rated for 100 mating cycles. The insulator is black liquid crystal polymer with a flammability rating of UL94 V-0.
Electrical ratings include 4.7A per contact (2 pins powered), voltage rating of 465 VAC / 655 VDC, and support for data rates up to 8 Gbps. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C.
