The Samtec SSQ-108-01-L-S is an 8 position single row receptacle socket strip from the SSQ series. It features a 2.54mm (0.100") pitch and through hole mounting with solder termination. The connector uses a push-pull fastening type and is designed for board to board or cable applications.
The receptacle has a black liquid crystal polymer insulator with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Contacts are phosphor bronze with 10µ" (0.25µm) gold on the contact area and matte tin on the tail. The contact length is 2.64mm (0.104"). The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C.
Electrical ratings include 6.3A per pin (with 2 pins powered) and voltage rating of 465VAC / 655VDC. The connector is rated for 100 mating cycles with 10µ" gold plating. Insertion depth ranges from 3.68mm to 6.35mm. The part is supplied in bulk packaging.
