The Samtec SSM-108-L-DV-K-TR is a 16 position, 2 row, 2.54mm pitch surface mount receptacle from the SSM series. It features female socket contacts with a 10µin gold mating finish and tin termination finish. The connector uses the Tiger Claw™ dual wipe contact system and is rated for up to 8 Gbps data rate.
The receptacle is designed for board-to-board or cable applications and supports vertical or horizontal orientation. It has a push-pull fastening type and includes a pick and place feature for automated assembly. The insulation is black with a height of 7.37mm.
Electrical ratings include 5.2A per contact current and 405 VAC / 572 VDC voltage. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C. The part is SET qualified and meets or exceeds MIL-DTL-55302 testing. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard package quantity of 350.
