The SSA24 is a 40V, 2A Schottky barrier rectifier designed and manufactured by On Semiconductor. It features a maximum forward voltage of 0.5V at 2A and a fast reverse recovery time of 9.84 ns typical, making it well-suited for high-efficiency power conversion circuits.
This device is Pb-Free, Halogen Free, and RoHS3 Compliant, with an MSL rating of 1 (Unlimited). It is qualified per AEC-Q101 standards for industrial and automotive applications. The junction temperature range spans from -55°C to 150°C.
The SSA24 is supplied in a surface mount DO-214AC (SMA) package with tape and reel packaging (7500 pcs per reel), enabling automated assembly. Typical thermal resistance is 20°C/W junction-to-lead and 75°C/W junction-to-ambient when mounted on an 8mm² copper pad.
