The Samtec SSA-107-S-T is a 7 position, single row, through hole receptacle socket from the SSA series. It features a 2.54mm (0.100") pitch and a push-pull fastening type, designed for board-to-board applications. The connector uses a black PET polyester insulator with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C.
The contacts are made of phosphor bronze with a matte tin plating over a 50 µ" (1.27 µm) nickel underplate. The socket accepts leads with a diameter range of 0.38 mm to 0.56 mm and supports an insertion depth of 1.27 mm to 3.30 mm. It is rated for 1000V and has a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VRMS.
The SSA series features a snap-strip design and standoffs for easy board cleaning. This connector is solder terminated and is lead-free solderable for wave soldering processes only.
