SSA-106-S-T Description

The Samtec SSA-106-S-T is a .100" (2.54 mm) pitch low cost socket strip with 6 positions in a single row configuration. It features a black PET polyester insulator and phosphor bronze contacts with matte tin plating over 50 µ" nickel. The operating temperature range is -55 °C to +105 °C with tin plating.

 

This receptacle is designed for through-hole mounting and mates with Samtec TS, HTS, BBS, BBL, and BHS series terminal strips. It accepts lead sizes from 0.015" to 0.022" diameter and most IC leads. The dielectric withstanding voltage is 1000 VRMS.

 

The SSA series includes a snap-strip feature and standoffs for easy board cleaning. High-reliability double side-wipe contacts and selective plating provide lower contact resistance. The insulator material is rated UL 94 V-0.
