The SS23 is a Schottky rectifier diode from On Semiconductor, part of the SS23-S210 series. It features a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 30V and a maximum average forward current of 2A. The forward voltage is typically 500mV at 2A, contributing to low power dissipation. The device can handle a non-repetitive peak forward surge current of 50A (8.3ms half-sine wave).
Designed for low voltage, high-frequency applications, the SS23 is suitable for freewheeling, secondary rectification, and reverse polarity protection. It features glass-passivated junctions for reliability and is Pb-free and Halide free.
The SS23 is supplied in a surface mount DO-214AA (SMB) package, with a tape and reel packaging option (3000 pieces per reel). The operating junction temperature range is -65°C to 125°C, and storage temperature range is -65°C to 150°C.
