The SS15 is a Schottky rectifier diode from On Semiconductor, part of the SS12-S100 series. It is designed for low voltage, high-frequency applications such as freewheeling, secondary rectification, and reverse polarity protection.
This diode features a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 50V and an average rectified current of 1A. The maximum forward voltage is 700 mV at 1A, offering low power loss. It can handle a non-repetitive peak surge current of 40A and has a junction operating temperature range of -65°C to 125°C.
The SS15 is housed in a DO-214AC (SMA) surface-mount package and is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 7500 units per reel. It is RoHS compliant, lead-free, and halogen free, with glass-passivated junctions for reliability.
