The SRV05-4MR6T1G is a transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed by On Semiconductor to protect high-speed data lines from electrostatic discharge (ESD), electrical fast transients (EFT), and lightning surges. It provides steering (rail-to-rail) clamping with a low working peak reverse voltage of 5V and a maximum clamping voltage of 17.5V. The device can handle peak pulse currents up to 5A (8/20µs) and dissipates 300W of peak power. With a typical capacitance of only 3pF at 1MHz, it is suitable for high-speed interfaces such as USB 1.1/2.0, DVI, and flat panel displays.
The SRV05-4MR6T1G complies with IEC 61000-4-2 ESD standards with ±15kV air discharge and ±8kV contact discharge protection. It also meets IEC 61000-4-4 EFT (40A) and IEC 61000-4-5 lightning (12A) requirements. The device is available in a SOT-23-6 Thin, TSOT-23-6 surface-mount package (6-TSOP supplier package), making it footprint compatible with SOT-23 6-lead and SC-59 packages. It is lead-free (Pb-Free) and RoHS3 compliant.
