The Firstohm SRM101 is a surface mount MELF resistor engineered for applications requiring high power handling and enhanced anti-surge capabilities. This component is built using a special conductive film that significantly improves its ability to absorb harmful surges, protecting sensitive devices.
With a power rating of 1/4W at 70°C and a maximum working voltage of 400V, the SRM101 is suitable for various demanding applications. It offers a wide resistance range from 1Ω to 1MΩ with tolerances available from ±1% to ±5%, supporting E-24/E-96 standards. The resistor can withstand a maximum surge voltage of 2,000V.
Designed with MELF packaging, it provides excellent heat dissipation and is an SMD-enabled alternative to traditional carbon composition resistors. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +150°C, and it meets IEC 60115-1 specifications. The SRM101 also complies with IEC60065 & UL1676 safety standards and meets RoHS requirements.
