The Semtech SR12.TCT is a steering (rail-to-rail) TVS diode designed for general-purpose circuit protection. It features a 12V reverse standoff voltage and a maximum clamping voltage of 31V at 16A peak pulse current (8/20µs waveform). The device can handle 500W of peak pulse power, making it suitable for protecting sensitive electronics from transient voltage events.
This TVS diode offers two unidirectional channels and includes power line protection. It has a low typical capacitance of 5pF at 1MHz, which helps maintain signal integrity in high-speed data lines. The device is rated for an operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C.
