SPM1004-1V0C

The SPM1004-1V0C is a fully integrated non-isolated Point of Load (PoL) power module from Sumida Corporation, utilizing PSI2 (Power Supply in Inductor) technology. It integrates power MOSFETs, driver, PWM controller, inductor, input and output capacitors, and other passive components into a single low-profile LGA package. Only one external input capacitor and one external output capacitor are required for typical operation, eliminating the need for loop compensation or sensitive PCB layout.

Key electrical specifications include a fixed 1V output voltage (trimmable by ±10%), 6A continuous output current without derating at 85°C ambient, and a typical input voltage of 12V (minimum 9V). Efficiency is 86.6% at full load (1V/6A). The module operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Protection and control features include over-current protection (OCP), over-temperature protection (OTP), over-voltage protection (OVP), under-voltage lockout (UVLO), remote sense, pre-bias startup, adjustable soft-start, enable input, power good output, output voltage sequencing, and programmable UVLO.

The module is housed in a 73-BLGA package (supplier package 73-LGA, 15.2x9.2mm) with dimensions 15.0mm x 9.0mm x 2.8mm, suitable for surface mount assembly. It is RoHS3 compliant and has a moisture sensitivity level (MSL) of 3.
