The SPC02SYAN is a 2-position closed top shunt (jumper) from Sullins Connector Solutions, designed for use with 2.54mm (0.100") pitch headers. It features a black PBT housing with UL94 V-0 flammability rating and dual beam phosphor bronze contacts with gold flash plating. The closed top design prevents accidental shorting and provides a clean, low-profile solution for configuration jumpers on PCBs.
Electrical specifications include a current rating of 3A per contact, maximum contact resistance of 20 mOhm, and minimum insulation resistance of 5000 MOhm. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +105°C, making it suitable for a wide variety of environments. The shunt is through-hole mount with solder termination.
Typical applications include shorting adjacent header pins for device configuration, address selection, or programming jumpers in prototyping, production, and test fixtures. The gold flash finish ensures reliable low-resistance connections over repeated insertion cycles.
