The SP3031-01ETG is a single-channel unidirectional TVS diode designed for ESD protection in high-speed data lines. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 5V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 6V at 1mA. The device offers typical clamping voltages of 6.9V at 1A and 7.5V at 2A (8/20µs pulse). With a low typical capacitance of 0.8pF at 0V bias, it is suitable for protecting interfaces such as USB 2.0, HDMI, and Ethernet. The SP3031-01ETG meets IEC 61000-4-2 ESD immunity with ±10kV contact and ±15kV air discharge, and IEC 61000-4-5 lightning surge immunity up to 5A. It is AEC-Q101 qualified, making it suitable for automotive applications. The device is housed in a compact SOD-882 surface-mount package and is RoHS, Halogen-Free, and Lead-Free compliant. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 125°C.
