The SP0503BAHTG is a 3-channel unidirectional TVS diode array designed for electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 5.5V and a typical clamp voltage of 8.5V at 1mA. During ESD events, the clamp voltage is 12V. The device can handle peak pulse power of 25W and peak pulse current of 3A (8/20μs).
This TVS array offers very fast response time under 1 nanosecond and low typical capacitance of 30pF, making it suitable for high-speed data lines. It meets IEC 61000-4-2 ESD immunity requirements with 30kV contact and air discharge capability. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 125°C.
The device is housed in a surface-mount SOT-143-4 package (also known as TO-253-4 or TO-253AA). It is not intended for power line protection. Typical applications include mobile phone interfaces, PDAs, portable handheld equipment, computer ports (USB 1.1), digital still cameras, and digital video cameras.
