The Samtec SNT-100-BK-G is a 2-position (1x2) open top shunt designed to connect adjacent header pins on 2.54mm (0.100") pitch. It features female sockets with a gold contact finish of 10µin (0.25µm) over phosphor bronze contacts for reliable low-resistance connections. The housing is made from glass filled polyester (UL94 V-0 rated) and accepts 0.64mm (0.025") square leads with a minimum insertion depth of 4.32mm (0.170").
This shunt is rated for 4.3A per contact when one pin is powered per row and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C for gold plating versions. It mates with Samtec's TSW, HTSW, MTSW, and other .100" pitch header strips, making it suitable for board stacking and programming header applications.
The component is supplied in bulk packaging. It is RoHS3 compliant, REACH unaffected, and halogenated penta octa compliant. Note that the housing material per the datasheet is glass filled polyester, not PBT as listed in some databases; verification is recommended.
