SN75LVDS83DGG

The SN75LVDS83DGG is a FlatLink transmitter IC from Texas Instruments, designed to simplify and enhance display data transmission. It features a 4:28 data channel compression mechanism, enabling high throughput of up to 238 MBytes/s. This device is particularly suited for SVGA, XGA, or SXGA display data transmission from a controller to a display, offering very low EMI.

The transmitter operates from a single 3.3V supply with a typical power consumption of 250 mW. It includes 28 data channels and a clock input that accepts Low-Voltage TTL signals, while outputting 4 data channels and a clock via Low-Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS). The device provides robust ESD protection exceeding 6 kV and features 5-V tolerant data inputs. Selectable rising or falling edge-triggered inputs offer design flexibility.
