SN75178BP

The SN75178BP from Texas Instruments is a monolithic integrated differential bus repeater designed for one-way data communication on multipoint bus transmission lines. It meets EIA Standard RS-422-A and RS-485, as well as CCITT Recommendations V.11 and X.27, making it suitable for balanced transmission bus line applications.

This device features one receiver and one transmitter, operating in full duplex mode with a maximum signaling rate of 10 Mbps. It supports a wide common-mode voltage range of -7 V to 12 V and can accommodate up to 32 nodes on the bus. The SN75178BP operates from a single 5-V supply with a low supply current of 70 mA maximum.
