The SN74LV165A devices also include a clock-inhibit function and a complemented serial output (Q H).

 

This shift register is specified for partial-power-down applications using Ioff, where the Ioff circuitry disables outputs to prevent damaging current backflow when the device is powered down. It supports mixed-mode voltage operation on all ports and has latch-up performance exceeding 250 mA per JESD 17.
