The SN74LV165ADGVR from Texas Instruments is a parallel-load, 8-bit shift register. It operates with a VCC range of 2 V to 5.5 V and supports mixed-mode voltage operation on all ports. The device features a maximum propagation delay of 10.5 ns at 5 V and includes an Ioff feature for partial-power-down mode operation.
Data is shifted towards the serial output Q H when the device is clocked. Parallel-in access to each stage is provided by eight individual direct data inputs, enabled by a low level at the shift/load (SH/LD) input.
