The SN74HC244PWR is an octal buffer and line driver designed by Texas Instruments to enhance the performance and density of 3-state memory address drivers, clock drivers, and bus-oriented receivers and transmitters. This device features two independent 4-bit buffers, each controlled by a separate output-enable (OE) input.
With a wide operating voltage range of 2V to 6V, the SN74HC244PWR offers flexibility in design. It provides high-current outputs capable of driving up to 15 LSTTL loads and ±6mA output drive at 5V. The device exhibits low power consumption with a maximum ICC of 80µA and low input current of 1µA.
The SN74HC244PWR is organized as two 4-bit buffers. When the output-enable (OE) input is low, non-inverted data passes from the A inputs to the Y outputs. When OE is high, the outputs enter a high-impedance state, making it ideal for bus line driving and memory address buffering.
This component is supplied in a 20-pin TSSOP (Thin Shrink Small Outline Package) with surface mount mounting type. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C (TA).
